SUP Event

For people with mental disabilities

Event overview

Join us for an empowering day on the water, where people with mental disabilities can experience the joy of stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Whether it’s a first-time experience or an exciting day out, we’re all about creating a safe, inclusive, and fun environment to connect with the water.

What to expect

  • Guided SUP sessions - we provide equipment and support of trained and experienced instructors for group or solo paddle lessons

  • Guided relaxation or breathing exercises - we offer gentle breathing exercises or short, guided mindfulness sessions, helping participants feel relaxed before or after paddleboarding

  • Art and crafts corner - face painting and activities like colouring and painting with watercolours to boost creativity and strengthen the connection with nature, by following ocean themes in our art pieces

  • Sensory stations - different stations with textured materials, scents, or sounds could add a sensory element, especially if they tie into the theme of water and nature

  • Gentle group games - activities that encourage teamwork and communication, engaging participants in light physical activity while respecting everyone’s personal boundaries
